Can a security system work without internet?
Yes. A cellular security system can communicate without the property’s internet connection. Wired sensor systems can also operate locally, but the communication path to professional monitoring depends on the selected system.
What is included in the installed system price?
Your system price includes the selected equipment, professional installation, setup, testing and customer training. Applicable HST is shown separately.
Where is surveillance video stored?
Video systems record to a local hard drive by default. Hybrid or fully cloud-based backup can be added to compatible systems without replacing the selected hardware; a monthly cloud subscription applies.
Can water leak protection shut off the water automatically?
Yes. The system can detect a leak, notify you and activate a compatible automatic shutoff valve. A professionally monitored option can also send the event to a 24/7 monitoring station.
Are systems available for homes and businesses?
